ZA is clear

We downed Hex-Lord Malacrass and Zul’jin over the weekend and it felt so good! We are especially proud of this accomplishment because we are the only guild on our server to have done so without ever stepping foot inside a 25 man dungeon, not to mention we are only the 4th or 5th guild on the server to do so period, alliance included! That means we downed bosses most guilds do after finishing most of the T5 content and without any of the gear which comes from there. No Gruul’s and Mag gear; no SSC and TK gear.

Besides seriously putting ourselves on the map on our server, our ZA clear has another huge significance for our guild: It was mandated by our GM and raid lead that once we downed Zul’jin we would get a two week notice that we will be starting the 25 man content! With our success in ZA I expect to do some plowing through the early 25 mans very soon.

Our challenge will be developing as a larger raid group and fielding the extra slots regularly. With our core group being as skilled and well geared as we are I really have high hopes. We’ve gained and lost a bunch of people these last two weeks due to them just not fitting in but we’ve gotten some really good people too. When we started ZA we had a solid 10 people with the skill and gear to be there. Now we can swap out 5 people from that core and still have the same success.

I’m in the process of writing up some guides for Malacrass and Zul’jin from a disc priest’s view so look for those to come to complete my series on ZA healing.

Zul’jin is dead. That is all.
